Funny People Trailer Online

The Trailer for Funny People has hit the net and I was expecting the same laugh-a-thon that Apatow films ususally deliver, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that despite the guaranteed laughs, there is a real touching story in here and that only makes me want to see it more.
Judd Apatow’s latest film Funny People is a little bit different than previous attempts. Sure, the whole gang is there with the addition of Adam Sandler into the mix, and of course we get to see the sexy Leslie Mann once again, but as much as those movies have a little heart, some bromance, real character conflict, this one seems to have that in spades. This rollercoaster of emotion laid behind a comedy theme is a one-two punch that is sure to be effective.
I just hope the “one that got away” storyline is not burdened with that chick flick stereotype of the target girl’s current-boyfriend-is-a-jerk thing.
Sandler is a good fit for the Apatow Pack, and I am really looking forward to seeing this.

That trailer was awesome. Much better than expected and an interesting form for the Apatow crew. Great humor and adding a little bit of heart. Looks like a killer combo.
Ha, I was the one that uploaded this trailer to youtube. Looks hilarious!
“I enjoy your movies. What movies? The ones where you try to kill Bruce Willis.”
That cracked me right up!!
Looks funny. I figured sooner or later they are going to put all of Apatow’s crew and the gang from Happy Madison into one movie.
i like trailers, but i’m sick and tired of them giving so much of the story away. keep it loose, keep me interested.
Well i have to say this is a much better looking film that Sandler has done in the past few years. However, It suffers from recycled 80s romantic comedies. I think this film would have been better off with the premise of how a comedian is trying to stay funny during a tragic time.
Looks very touching and funny
“I think he went to hell”
HAHAHAH so funny
This looks hilarious, but at the same time it looks sincere and genuine. Plus this movie might make me like Adam Sandler again.
The last line was awesome.
I am glad to see Sandler get into the pack. He deserves a win, and this could be it. Apatow takes humor and emotion and combines them to create gold, and this looks like a great evolution for him.
I think that Erik Bana is going to be a part of the movie that no one people expects to be funny but ends up being hilarious. People dont realize that he was actually a sketch comic in Australia before he came to America and was a bad ass in black hawk down. My fingers my safety
