Little Man used in Defense Case of R.Kelly
Not 100% movie news but still entertaining enough to talk about here.
During R.Kelly’s trial over an illegal sextape of him with a minor has officially reached the “grasping at straws” stage in a staggering move that can only be described as “Oh no you didn’t!”
/Film offers:
[R. Kelly’s attorney], in an attempt to suggest that Kelly’s head could have been superimposed onto somebody else’s body in the sex tape, asked [gal on witness stand] whether she had seen the Wayans brothers’ movie “Little Man.”[Attorney] said, “They put the head of Marlon Wayans on a midget and it looked real, didn’t it?”
But, to widespead laughter, [gal on witness stand] replied, “Not really!”
Don’t they have professionals that can judge if a video was edited?
I can’t believe they went that far as to use an example like this in an actual court of law. This world is going to hell in a handbasket if this defense happens to work for him.
I know the whole purpose is to put a sliver of doubt in their mind. If they are not convinced that it COULDN’T have happened that way no matter how silly it sounds, he could walk over this.
Next up: DNA evidence against me is debunked because it is possible that my clone did it. You saw “The Island” right???

After hearing this news it reminds me of the R.Kelly episode on the animated series “The Boondocks”. I recommend people watch it, it is funny as hell.

The funny thing is the “little man” defense may get him off.
If R. Kelly has either a celeb-loving jury like Michael Jackson, or a racially antagonistic jury like OJ, that defense may be all he needs.
