Global Metal Trailer

Special thanks to Henrik for the heads up on the trailer for Global Metal! This documentary looks like it’s going to impregnate me with joy.

For a full review of Global Metal. Check out my nihilist friend Henrik’s full review over at Film Junk. The lucky bastard already saw the film at the CHP:DOX film festival.

This looks pretty cool, but I think they should done a documentary on black metal. Because that was probably one of the most interesting parts of Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey.

This looks rad. Metal rules… it’ll be interesting to see how other non-western cultures view metal and the connotations…

There’s another Metal documentary on its way - about the only heavy metal band in Iraq - should be a good one! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBZ7Ggx-rUE

Looks like a my kinda documentary! I really liked Metal: A headbangers Journey. I wonder if they cover Finland, the land of Metal

And they played SIGH at the end! Japanese metal for the win!

Yeah this one looks bad ass. The fact that they are playing Sigh (an excellent metal band from Japan) at the end hooked me. I have to admit that the part that I need to see is about metal bands in Muslim countries. That has to take brass balls that would make Uwe Boll stand and salute.

This reminds me of a show I have been watching called NoFx Backstage Passport which has them traveling all over east Asia and it is funny as hell. Especially one episode that found them snorting unknown green drugs in Malaysia where they put you to death for such things.
