Actually, that pic is a little bit more real then you think.
There was a comic series that was absolutely fantastic but sadly, only lasted 40 issues that was told entirely from the perspective of the detectives of Gotham City. It was all about how they have to clean up the streets in a city filled with crazy villains and a guy like Batman running around doing their job.
