Pineapple Express Trailer
The new Pineapple Express trailer has hit the web. Let me say this first, I love Seth Rogen, I love James Franco (I still think this guy has the chops to be a legit A-listers someday) and I loved Superbad. Having said all that, you’d assume that this movie would be one I should be dying to see… but I’m not. Why?
I honestly just don’t think the trailers are all that good. Yes I saw the red band version a little while back. Yes I saw the original leaked scene, and yes I watched this trailer now. Honestly… I just don’t see what everyone is getting so excited about? I didn’t even grin once watching this thing. What am I missing?

love the new set up john, makes the site look more professional….anyway i didnt really like the sneak peak on the superbad dvd, but the new trailer looks funny….
ive always wanted to see the apatow squad do some comedy action and this looks right up my alley…..u gotta admit tho the police car scene, the “thug life” part, and punching rosie perez was pretty funny

I’m no pothead but this looks pretty good to me and I wasn’t all that impressed with Superbad. Wasn’t that great. But I laughed pretty hard at this trailer at the end with him trying to kick out the police car window.

Both 40 year old virgin and knocked up were completely overrated…and i cannot for the life of me understand the love affair people have with seth rogan. he is a small doses actor for me. His voice drives me crazy….
superbad was awesome though……funniest film in years..

plus this pineapple film has one actor in it who makes all films he appears in automatically 80% greater then all other….

I find myself disagreeing with Alfie almost every time he posts, but for once I agree with him 100%. Just about everything he posted, I was just one my way here to post myself, minus the Seth Rogen voice annoyance thing. I don’t find his voice annoying at all. Other then that, every single sentence he just typed, I was planning on saying as well.

you see john he can’t see as he is driving and rogen tells him to kick the windshield out like in the movies…he tries and gets his foot stuck as the windshield doesn’t smash out and he has to drive with one leg out the window and he still can’t see.
I am being sarcastic in explaining it by the way john…nothing is more humor sucking than explaining why something is funny but if you are seriously trying to tell me that you cannot see how that gag in the trailer is in any way funny then I don’t know what to say although I am fairly certain I am not the only person to have found that gag funny.I guess when compared to the quality of japes found within the comedic genius of nosies off then it pales in comparison ;P
and slushie man when you say that you disagree with me almost everytime I post except for this article what you are really saying is that for the first time you are right about something! So I feel really good about having helped you find your way.
anyway one thing we can share our joy in john is that battlestar galactica is like a couple of weeks away….and I can’t fucking wait.

James Franco is brilliant (he’s the only guy who made Spiderman 3 worthwhile), but I can see Seth Rogan getting pretty boring after awhile. He should take a break before people get sick of him.

There is also a red band trailer for this. Has a couple more funny parts. I actually want to see this now :o…the first trailer released looked stupid I thought. James Franco is the funniest part surprisingly.

Seriously there isn’t one actor in Hollywood at the moment who is more annoying than Seth Rogan. He’s so unfunny as shit, his voice is so annoying, his laugh even more (although fortunately he didn laugh in this trailer). Anyway, it was a very well made trailer, but since Rogan is in it.. skip.

I don’t understand how anyone could not find this at least amusing. The trailer is very well cut, the music makes it all the more better and I’m one of those guys who would love to hang out with Rogen cause he seems like a good god dam guy.
I’m also looking forward to see what Franco can do other than being the moody dude all the time.

He has done a fair bit of voice work, but none of his characters have been dogs….at least not yet…
I’m on board for this movie. The first teaser bit we got I wasn’t so sure, but then the red band trailer came out and changed my mind. I so love the kicking the windshield out scene…makes me laugh every time.
