Starship Troopers 3 Trailer

Well guys, the moment you all been waiting for is FINALLY here! (*note sarcasm) The Starship Troopers 3:Marauder is online for you all to witness. Casper Van Dien reprises his role as Johnny Rico and is teamed up with Jolene Blalock and my number one celebrity crush, Boris Kodjoe. (The only reason why I would even ATTEMPT to watch this movie.)

Comments on other sites have already proved that you should go in with extremely low expectations when watching this trailer.

Go over to Shocktillyoudrop.com to watch the trailer and tell me if it’s as horrific as everybody is making it out to be.

  2. Bruce says:

It looks like it was made by the Asylum (Snakes on a Train, Transmorphers) and would have been more appropriately called “Spaceship Troopers 3: Raider”.

  3. miles says:

as long as they keep wmakign starship trooper movies, i will keep watching them.

we need more movies where futuristic armies battle alien species on distant planets.

    *Rico

  5. Serena says:

Thanks Drew! Changed from Nico to Rico….

  6. DJ Machismo says:

While it doesn’t look like it’ll be as good as the first film, it still looks like it will entertain.

  7. Darren J Seeley says:

    Jolene Blalock…

Whatcha think? A Dina Meyer/Kelly Carlson skin scene? Why else is she here, in this movie?

    Huh?
Her career is screwed? I was starting to like her, Until Slow Burn, anyway.

  8. PhoenixP3K says:

Is there any bottom to the pit this movie falls into?
Too much “cheese” can’t be good for your health…

  9. spagett says:

Doesn’t look awful. Cheesy like the first film…but on purpose. Wasn’t the 2nd film straight to DVD? At least they got a character from the first to return (if he wasn’t in the 2nd which I don’t think he was). Tho I doubt he has anything better to do.

  10. DarthMuppet says:

    Pure…Fucking…SHIT!!!!

Someone should find the masters and burn them.

  11. Antonio says:

COME ON YOU APES! DO YOU WANT TO LIVE FOREVER??

  12. oldshell says:

The 2nd film was god awful… the original was sheer genius!!

  13. aldude says:

“KILL EM ! KILL EM ALL !

  14. Omar says:

The first film was utter genius that few people got. The second film was a big steaming pile of shit.
The only reason I’m giving this a chance is because Ed Neumeier is writing and directing and the trailer made it look like they were back to the brilliant fascist ideology that they made fun of in the first film
I do hope that those blue screen shots were not final though, those looked terrible.

  15. rafa1215 says:

Yeah. I loved the first one - the second one I could do without. I hope they can redeem themselves with this one. We need new cool bugs.

  16. Jesse says:

I once read this review of the first film, which was not very good, but stated basically that the movie was kinda cool and just as it was starting to get good, it ended, which seems to suggest that they ran out of money. Which I always thought to be an interesting theory. Anyways, I thought the first one kicked ass. This one does look pretty cheesy, but I’d still like to see it.

  17. Robert(wolf) says:

    Wow…so bad…

  18. Phil Gee says:

“I’m from Buenos Aires, and I say kill ‘em all!”

Oh memories. There’s only one new Starship Troopers movie i want to see and that’s the one that Pixar decides to make (when they branch out into more adult stuff):)

  19. Serena Whitney says:

The only part that got me excited in the trailer was the entrance of “Dix Hauser!” YUMMY…. I Love Boris!!! (But, what are you thinking?!!)

  20. Steve L. says:

If only they had N.P.H. (Neil Patrick Harris, a.k.a. Doogie Howser and Barney from “How I Met Your Mother”) come back to reprise his role, that would be awesome. I’m kind of with the others that enjoyed the cheesy feeling of the first because I loved that about it. This looks so campy and sci-fi that it just boils over with fun gruesomeness.

  21. Gareth says:

Love the first one hate the second one, Luckily I have the CGI series Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles to watch till this comes out.

  22. Rodney says:

    Holy crap.

There is a fine line between “so bad its good” and “so bad that Rob Schneider movies look good”

If someone told me this was a fan film made in some geek’s basement on his new computer, I would have thought it was alright. But really… this got a green light?

  23. Alex says:

Wow. For a straight to DVD movie, it doesn’t look half bad. It doesn’t look half good either, but I’ll rent it. Why not? Looks like fun. Good to see Casper Van Dien getting some work.

  24. Ezell says:

Hey its better than hell boy thats not saying much sorry John i just thought it was cheesy for all the wrong reasons Starship Troopers is cheesy in all the right reasons hell yea that girl is hot too.

  25. MrChom says:

I have to say…I thought it looked like the original.

No, seriously, the first one has, what are now, dodgy effects, and even dodgier lines…this one looks to be more in that spirit.

I loved the original so this is a must-have for me…although it probably won’t be as good as the pure AWESOME of the TV series.

  26. Omar says:

The original had dodgy effects? Since when?

The CGI work in Starship Troopers is still some of the best ever made.

  27. darkbhudda says:

I’m with Omar. The CGI and animatronics combined are still better than some stuff they are doing today.
