Fast And The Furious 4 Cars

Under the file of “My dear sweet lord WHY!?!?” comes news of the upcoming Fast and the Furious 4. Why anyone continues to watch this nonsense is beyond me, but film is subjective, so there you go.

Anyway, the site “vindieselgallery” got their hand on a whole ton of pictures of the cars that will be used in the up coming movie, including the ones that will be used by Vin Diesel himself and also the one to be used by Paul Walker.

The folks over at Ropeofsilicon have this quick synopsis:

Brian (Paul Walker) is freed from prison (the authorities found out that he let Dominic played by Vin Diesel go at the end of the first film) to help the feds stop a heroin importer known as Braga. With the help of an informant named James Park, Brian – and ultimately Dominic Toretto – wins a place on the criminal’s team, where he – and his flashy Nissan plan to catch the man red-handed.

Here are a couple of the pics:

Didn’t Brian get all charges against him dropped concerning the Toretto incident at the end of 2 Fast 2 Furious? This doesn’t really make any sense even from the plotline they are using.

  2. Jason

Perhaps they are ignoring the second and third films (neither of which I have seen) and are framing this movie as a direct sequel of the first one. Kind of like “First Blood” and the recent Rambo film.

This causes me pain to say it, but the third movie was actually fun and interesting. I didn’t like the first one much because I’m not into drag racing at all, but drift racing? Good stuff.

So yeah, since they actually did well at the third one, I imagine that convinced them to make the fourth.

How long before they send you a take down notice?

For some weird reason the first F&F holds a special place in my heart. The fourth one seems like a return to the source.

I don’t understand the problems everyone had with the third. It might be that I am biased to anything giving me a glimpse of Japan, but to me it was a great movie. In fact, I keep on hoping that Lucas Black is in the fourth movie. I’ve even gone as far as telling my friends that if Lucas Black isn’t in the fourth movie, that i’d scratch out the “Fast and the Furious” part of the DVD,and call it “Tokyo Drift.” I would hate the damage the box though.

I liked the first, felt meh about the second, and loved the third.

This 4th movie is being made by the creators of the third, and IMO, best movie, and is supposed to take place between the second and third movie (As Han, who died in the third movie, is featured in this movie, and explains how Turreto and Han first met).

The plot outline that site gives is inaccurate and I have no idea how they got it, as Latino Review has a script review up for the 4th movie (And their script reviews have always been accurate to a T before), and that review states a completely different plot. Oh, and they HATED the first 3 movies with a passion, but really loved what they read for the 4th movie’s script, so as a slight fan of the series, that personally has my hopes raised.

Also, is anyone else having problems accessing the various links given in this article (The one that this comment section is for), that links to the pictures and videos of the cars? For some reason they won’t load for me.

Shit, I’ll see this. I liked the first one.

The third was surprisingly good. The whole begining when he’s racing the boy from Home improvbement was pretty corny and stupid, but as soon as he lands in tokyo, the movie does a 180 and is enjoyable. And those cars make me wet my pants. Can’t wait.

I liked the first, was so-so about #2 (which I think they should have busted Brian for skimming off some dope money at the end? Remember that?)

#3 was also a surprise. It got hit by many who thought the drifting was all CGI.
But it should also be said that Walker, nor Tyrese was in part three and Vin was only a cameo.

    As for the cars.
I like the Ghost Rider paint job…that third one looks nice.
And I hold ZERO…let me repeat…ZERO hope for Fast 4. Why?

Yes, the films made money. Yes, actors from previous films show up once more.
But see…here’s where my ZERO intrest comes in.
Look at the pix above. Nice cars.

    Nce cars.
    Nice cars.
    NO ACTORS.
    Speaketh volumes.

    “Nce cars.
    Nice cars.
    NO ACTORS.
    Speaketh volumes.”

It was the same way with all the other movies. Pics of the cars came out long before pics of the actors did. This movie’s not advertising itself anyway differently then the previous ones did.

  13. Klendathu

    Fuck these movies.

  14. djj

I don’t think there is a single movie franchise that captures the essence of a steaming pile of poop on screen quite like the Fast and the Furious.

  15. takata

    KRISTINA
yeah she is in it too.

  16. bunnyhero

  18. Allen

omg…the 4th part is prolly going to have all the “new” cars in it and all the new cars are just getting smaller, slower, and more fuel efficient….. what happened to the skylines, supras, evos, etc.
c’mon, i mean the new subaru hatchback, mustang, and new charger…they are all gay…

  19. Nick

hahahahaah they will have Fast and the Fuel Efficient! hahaha done up Smart Cars, Toyota Prius’ and for the grand finale chase………. Honda Civic HYBRID!

  20. Bison

I liked all three. I haven’t seen anything yet from the fourth one, but i imagine it would be good. Great sound effects on the 6.1.

  21. Seth

Ok, shouldn’t Paul Walker be in Miami with Tyrese? And shouldn’t Vin Diesel be drifting in Tokyo? Apparently Toretto’s girlfriend dies…And so our gang of misfits return once more to drive more shitty cars. Why can’t we just wipe the slate clean and get some American Muscle Cars in the 4th one?

  22. Seth

Would it be too much to ask for a Hemi Cuda, or maybe a Chevelle? What do you guys think?

  23. Brett

They need a bunch of muscle cars. A 69 camaro and 70 mustang would be nice. And something with a hemi.

  24. matt
