First Look At 88 Minutes

We have a shot from the upcoming Al Pachino thriller for you today thanks to our friends at moviesonline - check it out:

Cop Thrillers are not really my bag, but I will enjoy one from time to tim, so I will stil give this a watch. Al Pachino is a fun guy to watch, he was on Larry King this year and it is one of the greatest interviews I have seen. Pachino started to ask Larry questions and it was a lot of back and forth conversation that made for amazing Television.

The plot synopsis for 88 Minutes is as follows: In 88 Minutes, Al Pacino stars as Dr. Jack Gramm, a college professor who moonlights as a forensic psychiatrist for the FBI. When Gramm receives a death threat claiming he has only 88 minutes to live, he must use all his skills and training to narrow down the possible suspects, who include a disgruntled student, a jilted former lover, and a serial killer who is already on death row, before his time runs out.

It sounds like they took the idea for 24, boiled it down to 88 minutes, and then made it personal. 88 Minutes will be in theaters April 18 2008.

I wonder if it will be real time, like 88 minutes from when he finds out, he dies or more realistically, foils the muderers plot.

It has been available on dvd for 1 year now in the Netherlands. It was a straight to dvd release over here. I have seen the movie and it sucks!

i thought i was mistaken but reading the other comments i agree this movie has been out for ages. And it’s not a cop thriller but more of proffessor whose testamony comes into question when a convict heads towards the chair. it’s OK but the twist is piss poor and pretty much spotable fromthe start.

I’ve seen it too 1 year ago in france. It’s maybe the worst pacino movie, and one of the worst thriller movie!
Pacino needed money to buy a new car after he crashed his porsche.
