Inkheart Trailer
When I was in the theatre watching The Golden Compass I saw the following trailer and was wondering why I did not hear anything about the film. The name of the movie is Inkheart and as it turns out, the Trailer has now been made available online. I now present it to all of you.
Seems like a cool idea. Talking a fictional villain into reality, and having him thrive here is kick-ass. This reminds me of the holodeck episodes of Star Trek: TNG where Moriarty took over the holodeck, and eventually the entire ship. I enjoyed those episodes and with hope, this film will be just as delightful.

I am so totally torn between that looking like a really cool film (Andy Serkis is really good [see “Deathwatch”], Paul Bettany also good [should have been “Constantine”]) or super-gheeyyyyyyyyyyy (”Get back into that book!”).
Ahhh inner conflict of nerdiness.

Yeah, i saw this trailer last night at the theatre. It looks cheesy but Andy Serkis looks like he’s having a blast and could be a really great villain.

I recently read the book. I was actually quite surprised. It was a good story and it looks like, they are dooing it justice. I hope. After Golden compass, I’m lowering expectations.
