Wonder Woman Attacks the Hollywood Skinny
When I first read this news about the former Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter coming down on the uber skinny obsession in Hollywood, I was about to throw the black pot at her kettle.

Lynda Carter has blasted “anorexic actresses”, saying Hollywood’s obsession with being thin is downright dangerous.
“I’m so sick of seeing these anorexic actresses,” the former Wonder Woman star told US TV show Extra, Extra!
“These people are crazy. Any place else in the country besides New York and LA and they would be in a hospital.”
Now if you check out the old school Lynda Carter in her blazing stars and stripes and impressive cleavage, you will notice that she is in fact rather slim. But “anorexic skinny? No. She actually looks quite healthy.
Then compare that to modern day Lynda Carter (who I have to say is aging VERY well) and you will see that she is a very model of a healthy woman. Sure, she is still slim. But healthy.
After seeing some tabloid shots of how boney scrawny some of these “superstars” are getting makes me see her point. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen must share meals, and some of these supposed role models seem to stave off hunger with 7 day benders at LA’s hottest night clubs.
But it just isn’t pretty!
Just a tip to you starlet wannabe’s. When someone rates you a 10, they shouldnt be counting visible rib bones.

Anorexic actresses? What else is new?! It cracks me up when I hear about little girls wanting to have their ribs sticking out. Hell with that. I’d rather look like Biel than Knightley, but maybe that’s just me.

Kiera is tiny, but I dont often see her looking unhealthy. Shes just REALLY tall and still petite.

Is Keira tall? I never thought she was tall, but God, she is skin and BONES now. Look at her at the Pirates 1 premiere in that belly shirt, and look at her now. She’s lost weight, and somebody her size can’t afford to lose a pound.

Nope Kiera’s not that tall. But then again I have no idea what you Americans consider ‘tall’ on a woman. If you see her latest picture, she looks very unhealthy, but that’s just what I think. My ideal woman is Catherine Zeta, so there you go. Look at Keira in the 1st PoTC and look at her on PoTC 3. Just compare her faces in the two movies. It’s drastic.
As for me, I don’t get it. How could anyone miss a meal in their lives? I love food, I live to eat, and I commit gluttony every other day. Life is too short to worry about what you eat and how much.

shit i’d rather u look like biel too….lol good point tho, these women dont seem to understand that there ware little girls that wanna be like u….i work at a summer camp and it pisses me off to see little 11, 12 year old girls taking about skipping lunch to loose weight….keira is a very beutiful woman with a pretty face and the body of a 10 year old boy….it isnt right

What makes it even crazier for me is that every guy that I know LOVES women with a curvy figure. They all lose their shit over Scarlett Johannsen and Monica Bellucci, not these twigs running around. That shit is not attractive at all. If men wanted a twig, they’d go out and fuck a tree, am I right? Jeez, EAT!

Lemme just say that my bf’s fave babes are : Beyonce, Kate Beckinsale, Charlize Theron and Tera Patrick. Granted Theron and Beckinsale are slim, very slim but they’re not BONES!
A male friend once told me that he does like skinny chicks, and his fave is Mia Kirshner. Even she’s not BONES. Very skinny, but still attractive. Definition of petite: below 5′4″ sizes 4-14. Kylie Minogue is petite. I know some people can’t help their metabolism, but I have skinny friends too who (for the life of me I can’t figure out) are not too fond or crazy about eating, but even they are not bones.
When you can see the bones in between your boobs, girl you need to eat, stat.

i agree that some actresses are way too skinny. but that seems to be what hollywood wants! but i love kiera and to me she appears to be tall, i noticed that while watching one of the pirate movies and her standing next to johnny depp she may be just as tall as he is… but compared to most women that is tall… i dunno, thats just my observation! lol! but io dont think she looks too skinny. i think she is beautiful… too skinny? nicole richie!!

I wish the Hollywood obsession with tall good looking men would stop. Every time I turn on a soap opera some impossibly built himbo fills the screen. Men can’t live up to Hollywood’s impossible standards.
