New Rambo Pics
As novel as that 5 minutes of leaked footage from the new “Rambo” movie was… the more I watched it, the more I realized that 5 minutes of novelty was all it was really good for. After watching it for the 4th or 5th time, I started to realize: “this isn’t any good”. Which doesn’t surprise me really since I’ve been VERY worried about good ol’ Sly going back to the well too many times. I think this Rambo film is going to be a disaster of Biblical proportions.
Now, keep in mind that I also predicted the same thing for the latest Rocky movie… and I had to seriously eat my words as I just LOVED that flick. But there is something different about Rambo… something that doesn’t lend itself to this. I really do think this is going to suck.. a LOT. Let’s hope I have to eat those words too a la Rocky.
Having said all that, the good folks over at MoviesOnline have just put up these new Rambo pics. As bad as I think this movie is going to be, I’ve gotta say: “Now THAT’S how a MAN fishes”.

Okay………..Rocky Balboa was surprisingly good. Those pics above……he doesn’t look ripped, he looks fat as hell.

i’m not going to judge the movie based on pics. so far the trailer that i’ve seen, reminds me of the 80’s action flicks with a twist of extra gore. i’m guessing he dies :(
personally, i think that would be a great way to end this franchise. to bad we all gotta get old… i luv ya sly.

Im actually lookin foward to this film.Old sly obviously wont be able to pull off the stuff he used to be able to,but it still has potencial.I think it all really matters how good the plot will be.

Did anyone really think this was going to be any good? I mean c’mon Rambo II and III weren’t exactly stellar films and the Rambo series in general was the weakest out of the big 80s action series. Regardless I’ll still be there opening night to see it.

So I gotta ask you John, with all due respect, based partially on what you’ve said about Rocky sucking: Do you really think Rambo will suck the hind teat, or do you want it to - presumably so that you can be right about Stallone?

I actually like Stallone… very much. As a matter of fact i think he’s got a lot more talent as a writer and filmmaker than most people give him credit for.
If I just wanted to “hate on” Stallone, I wouldn’t have said I really liked Rocky.
No, saddly I really honestly do think Rambo will suck balls. It’s a bad idea.

In my opinion, the only good Rambo movie is First Blood. The rest are kind of silly, although still badass. I’m not expecting anything great from this one.

I’ve been bowfishing for 15 years and very few people know you can shoot fish with a bow.when I saw that in the trailer,it got me pumped to see his crappy movie.
And John your right that is the way real men fish.

Nothing very new about the fishing pic, looka like a still from the footage. The cobra must have in its mouth a pearl or something, based on the previous titles for this film I expect something about snakes is fairly important. I think this film has much less chance of being credible than Rocky Balboa had but I still give the benefit of the doubt.

Just quickly glancing over the two pictures I thought for a split second Rambo was trying to shoot a snake at someone using a bow. Upon further inspection, this movie really WILL suck.

hes bigger, broader but hes not fat same goes for rocky balboa. big not fat
