Evan Almighty Trailer

You know, I’ve had this sense of guarded optimism about Evan Almighty. I LOVE Steve Carell, I just think the man is gold. However, even though the concept for Evan Almighty sounds cute, I’ve had my doubt they could fill out a whole movie and keep it interesting and funny with it. But now here comes the new Evan Almighty trailer… and screw it… I’m 100% sold! I can’t wait to see this damn thing! Check it out:

People will talk of the 200 million. Don’t care, I’ll be there.
    Good morning everybody.

Bizarre more than funny by the looks of it.
Noah is the new ‘Santa Clause’ I guess.

I read an early review on AICN that calls it “riotously funny” or something to that extent. Of course that screening did not show the completed film, so it can only get better :D

I didn’t think much of Bruce Almighty, but this looks to have a bit more potential.

Why even see it now? They pretty much showed you the whole movie in the trailer.

I have seen this screener as well. I know I might sound repetative, but seriously! COMBINE ‘SANTA CLAUSE’ movie with ‘The Truman Show’ and ‘Bruce Almighty’ films! And you get this!

I mean, The movie is okay, but I can’t stand the fact that they are trying to pull off the same concept again! COME ON! There is ultimately no more originality in this world!

Please, think twice about becoming a movie critic! I HATE IT!

It looks cute. But they gave to much away in that trailer.
