New Superman Returns Footage
People are so nice. Special thanks to David for sending me this new Superman Returns footage clip. Unlike the X-Men 3 clip below (which really disappointed me), this clip looks pretty sweet indeed.
I should say that it’s not really a “clip” per se. It’s a couple as of yet unseen segments thrown together. I believe the clip is part of an Austrailian Coke commercial. God bless the Aussies.
So yeah, I like what I’m seeing, and I think Brandon Routh is looking like a better and better choice to play the Man of Steel all the time. You can see the Superman Returns footage here. Make sure you drop into the comments section and tell me what you think about it. Enjoy!

The effects look somewhat nice. Expecially when we aren’t looking at Routh’s face.

This movie is going to be crap. The storyline is crap andrything with lois is crap, especially the casting of a little girl

How can you like this better than the X3 clip? It’s just him flying around…anybody could do that and make it look cool. Seriously John, you can hardly even compare the clips.

This looks great. It’s not even a complete clip, so for people to be saying it looks horrible, look at the quality, of course it doesnt look as great as it will on screen. And the X-Men clip doesnt look very good, the way he throws him, the lines Logan has, doesnt seem very believable or enjoyable. Although I am looking forward to X3. I have been waiting for Superman Returns for years now, its’ going to be great.

neither can I….john, there are 2 commercials about down here right now…from what I can figure out…
my reasoning is that I saw one the other day that had some more footage than this one…(I went to youtube and found a clip there…not sure which one you’ve got here because it’s not working. )
when you download this, its’ just the audio from a coke ad. I think we’re fighting a cola war here, John.

Look at Superman drawn by Dan Jurgens and brett breeding (circa 1994) and you’ll see this superman in build AND costume AND facial structure is nearly identical.
