Andrew Adamson Back To Direct The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
I just LOVED The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. I thought Andrew Adamson did a masterful job re-telling the classic story on the big screen with all of the awe and wonder that the title deserved.
A short time ago it was announced that a sequel, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, was indeed being green lit… but that there was no work yet on who would direct it. Well good news! It’s been officially announced that Adamson is indeed going to be back directing and co-writing the follow up to this years King Kong conquor. Fantastic!

I have a question, since Prince Caspian is the 4th book from the series, its most likely that A Boy and His Horse (the 3rd book) wouldnt be made? Cause it’s my favorite! It would be interesting to see who will play Shasta.
Prince Caspian would be much fun too of course.

I doubt they’ll make the magician’s nephew, a boy and his horse or silver chair for lack of epic battle sequences.

Prince Caspian is the second book published. Somebody screwed up twenty years sago and started reelasing them chronologicaly

But there is some skirmish in “A Horse and His Boy” which I also felt when reading the book lead to very emotional moments. And of course the talking horses would be brilliant.

NO NO. please stop making movies from books that are to detailed and intricate to fit in a watchable movie slot.
make a mini series or split books into multiple movies to do them justice.
Anybody who ever read the Dune books, then watched the film will surely understand.
Plus - narnia story is old fashioned and sadly just not interesting.

Kelltrenzer: Well I was told that it was a very good film about C.S. Lewis.
The Archenland skirmish, oh yes! I am guessing you read all the books?

Yeah I have, just reread em recently. The movie did a good job filling in the things that needed to be there (i.e. the battle, the chase).

I just read all 7 books after the holidays. I really enjoyed the film, that’s why I had to see it twice. I wish I had heard of the Narnia books when I was kid.

I enjoyed em when I reread em, but not as much as when I was a kid.
