British Independent Film Awards 2005 - Nominees announced
From here on out referred to as BIFA’s, okay? Thanks to a story in Timeout we’ve just found the nominations for the BIFA’s this year.
Some interesting things are afoot, for instance Neil Marshall has The Descent in three categories, Best British Independent Film, Best Director of a BIF and Best Technical Achievement. I actually agree with the last two categories, however I haven’t seen enough British Independents this year to judge if it belongs in the first category.
