Is it just me, or is anyone else unable to subscribe to this through iTunes? It shows up in the directory and all, but most of the time theres an “!” next to the feed. It looks like the feed doesn’t validate properly (http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.judymoodymovie.com%2Faudioedition-podcast.xml) and that might have something to do with it.

  2. Jorse says:

Pretty good audio editions, not as good as the last one but still nice. It’s surely nice to have some guest over there, but personally I’ve always thought that all the best audio editions are made purely by John & Doug. Most of the guest can’t give anything to conversation. Shannon was pretty nice, although she was useless until the end, when she could use her knowledge about visual effects.

And it’s always nice to hear “hello to international friends” :)

  3. Marco says:

That’s cool, yes, infact it’s not as good as the last one but still nice.

  4. Lou_Sytsma says:

I enjoyed it - wish the topic had been restricted to just SFX. Would have loved to here Shannon’s thoughts on all time great SFX shots, what she thought of the work done in the LOTR and Matrix trilogies, and her thoughts on upcoming projects such as Kong and Superman.

Any chance of Shannon coming back to do such a show?

  5. John Campea says:

    Hey there Lou,

Yes, Shannon has agreed to come back. I think you’re right… having Shannon on… we should have just talked about VFX. I think that’ll be a show in the near future.

  6. Ray` says:

Since you jumped on Doug for saying Star Trek for Star Wars, I might as well mention you said Brad Smith instead of Brad Pitt..

    Good Audio Edition!

  7. Anonymouse says:

Yep. Itunes doesnt work for me either. The 2 XML files linked from the site is linked wrong/written wrong. And movie blog doesnt show up in the itunes directory at all.

You guys really need to address this because there are alot of people who aren’t getting your show because of these easy to fix problems.

  8. John Campea says:

Thanks for pointing out the iTUnes issue guys. Yes, we currently have a crack team of tech experts from around the world working on the problem (well… Richard is working on it).

I hope to have good news on this front soon.

    Thanks again.

    ~John

  9. Simone says:

Ehr, when’s the next video edition again John, Doug? ;-)

  10. Lou_Sytsma says:

That’s great news John! I eagerly await that installment - and your regular ones as well!;-)

  11. Anonymouse says:

Just listened to this episode. GREAT episode and Shannon was a great guest. Too bad she can’t afford to watch movies despite her working in the movie industry. But still, I’ll take her over that other girl you sometimes have co-host.

  12. Donna A. says:

    Great as always!

  13. Ray T. says:

Great show guys, entertaining as always. I just wanted to take the opportunity to mention the recent Japanese release of the film “Final Fantasy: Advent Children.” While a domestic release isn’t planned until later this year, the film has already begun to circulate in the form of P2P files and bootleg DVDs. I’ve seen it, and the CGI is fantastic, easily rivaling the graphics of the theatrically released “Spirits Within.”

Being both gamers and SFX buffs, I’d be thrilled to hear you take on this production, as well as Shannon’s 2 cents.

    Cheers
