Hugh Jackman signs with Woody Allen
Film Stew is carrying the news that Hugh Jackman has signed up for Woody Allen’s new untitled movie.
Hugh Jackman has just signed on to join Scarlett Johansson and Deadwood star Ian McShane in the untitled comedy Woody Allen wrote, will direct and will also topline…
…Jackman will shoot the film in England just before he goes to work this summer reprising his role as Wolverine in X3…
I think this is great news for Jackman, he’s got bags of talent and I wouldn’t say they are wasted in his comic roles, but these roles aren’t showing his full range of talents, after all he came from musicals!
Is everyone locked into seeing him as a comic book character, or are you keen to see him develop?

I adore Hugh and am looking forward to seeing him in movies that would broaded his talents outside of comic and romantic comedy movies.

No argument from me. Jackman’s talent is so diverse and amazing (my god, that voice!) he isn’t spread around half as much as he could be. Just so long as he doesn’t make another “Swordfish”.
Saying that, I’m looking forward to seeing him back in leather. As Wolverine he’s sex on legs. drools…..
