Okay folks, for those of you who are awaiting Superman Returns we have the official plot description here courtesy of IGN Film Force through Comic Book Movie.

For those of you who don’t want to read it, I’ve very kindly put it in the full excerpt and not in the main text, I thought that might be too cruel. Mind you, just to be fair it doesn’t really give away anything, it’s just more to tease.

“Following a mysterious absence of several years, the Man of Steel comes back to Earth in the epic action-adventure Superman Returns, a soaring new chapter in the saga of one of the world’s most beloved superheroes. Ta-da! Well…what now? I guess we wait for a poster (I still like the fan one!), then some teasers, a few trailers and then release day. Savour this, we may be some time.
